There are many ways to install Linux
OS in Microsoft OS but here I will tell you the more convenient way to install.
Let, begin with instillation...
•
I think you have already borrowed a boot-able media such as pen drive or CD that contains UBUNTU Operating System.
•
Second step you have to check for the partition you have
done in your computer because it plays vital role during installation.
•
Insert the boot media
and check weather it is running in you PC or not and then Restart your PC.
•
Select or give prioritize the boot media to the device you
have inserted.
•
A screen appears which take several minutes to go in the
main page of UBUNTU OS.
•
When it completes don't ever think to install UBUNTU directly
without partition of the drive. Following are the drive requirement for
UBUNTU.
•
Requires
minimum 10 GB space to install.
•
As root
drive requires 4 GB space and must be formatted as ext-3 format.
•
2 GB of
space is separated for swap folder which must be formatted as linux-swap.
•
Renaming
4 GB is given to home folder as it is also formatted by ext-3 format.
•
These
steps are done using GPartation on UBUNTU OS.
•
Now your computer is ready to install UBUNTU.
Don't forget there are still some
steps you need to be careful because if you don't be careful the partition on
your computer might be wiped out.
